An Phat Holdings attended the launching ceremony of the plastic action movement in Con Son, Hai Duong ProvincePosted on
On 04 July 2019, the Launching Ceremony of the Plastic Action Movement in Culture, Sports and Tourism, aiming to drive the team building spirit among departments, sectors and the society, was participated by the representatives of An Phat Holdings.
The Ceremony welcomed Mr. Nguyen Dao Dung – Deputy Director of Travel Department under Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Ms. Nguyen Thi Viet Nga – Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Ta Hong Minh – Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Ms. Pham Thi Kim Nhung – Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Nguyen Van Huynh – Vice Chairman of Chi Linh City People’s Committee, Ms. Nguyen Le Hang – Deputy General Director of An Phat Holdings and Mr. Ngo Van Thu – Deputy General Director of Production of An Phat Bioplastics., JSC.
Before the Launching Ceremony, participants had visited and thurified at Con Son Pagoda, Nguyen Trai Temple and Tran Nguyen Dan Temple, and participated in trash collection and fertilizing activities with local students.
At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Viet Nga – Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism called for the awareness unity of every department, sector, organization, business and the community to give a hand in combating plastic waste by 6 specific actions; Ms. Pham Thi Kim Nhung – Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism summarized a number of main points of the Guidance on Environmental Protection for tourism and service facilities in tourist areas; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Lien – Head of Management Unit of Con Son – Kiep Bac Complex gave a speech to launch the plastic action movement – the unit has launched a series of activities to protect the environment and develop a green, clean and beautiful tourism environment.
At the Launching Ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Le Hang – Deputy General Director of An Phat Holdings – the program’s sponsor also gave a speech in response to the plastic action movement and introduced AnEco eco-friendly compostable products.
It is strongly believed that with the great determination of agencies and unions, the enthusiastic involvement of businesses and the local support, Hai Duong will successfully fulfill its goals. Accordingly, by 2021, disposable plastic products will not be available at any outlets, markets and supermarkets in urban areas; by 2025, single-use plastic products will be eliminated nationwide, facilitating the environmental improvement for the local and national sustainable development, sharing the responsibilities with other countries to save our beautiful and green planet.
